Greek Language
Believe it or not but Greek is the official language of Greece and is spoken by about 99.5% of the population. It is also one of the two official languages of Cyprus, the other one being Turkish. As well as being one of the 23 official languages of the European Union it is also recognized as a minority language in parts of Turkey, Italy and Albania.
Myself and my wife Jane have lived in Crete, Greece for 15 years now and both speak fluent Greek. It wasn't easy to learn at first but when we discovered these Pimsleur language courses it was childishly easy to learn. Jane now teaches Greek and makes extensive use of the material contained in these courses.
Take a look at the courses below and click the 'more info' link to here a sample of the course material.
